An iconic bassist of British punk band THE CLASH and now an active artist, Paul Simonon—along with his friends—hosts a weekly DJ party at “THE ROYAL EXCHANGE,” a historic pub founded in 1830 in London’s Paddington district. That very event is now coming to Japan for a special tour.
To mark this special occasion, NEIGHBORHOOD will host the official afterparty on Sunday, May 4th during Golden Week, at TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET in Shibuya.
The DJ lineup will feature Paul Simonon and fellow DJs from THE ROYAL EXCHANGE, alongside NEIGHBORHOOD’s Shinsuke Takizawa and stylist Keisuke Baba.
A commemorative pop-up space will also be set up at the venue, showcasing and selling collaboration items created by NEIGHBORHOOD, Paul Simonon, and THE ROYAL EXCHANGE for this special event.

Creator of the beloved Fuji Rock mascot “Gonchan,” and a key figure behind numerous events related to The Clash.

Keyboard player, DJ, Composer, Photographer.
Keyboardist for Big Audio Dynamite led by Mick Jones, as well as Dreadzone and The Sisters of Mercy.
NOODLE
Fashion designer of GOLDENNEEDLE LONDON and flutist.
Collaborated with Paul Simonon and played a key role as the manager and driving force behind the Royal Exchange Japan project.
